The path takes her to abrickyard surrounded by tall trees and unusual nature. The harsh-faced, but big-hearted brickyard workers provide with a temporary home and offer her the rebellious Brazilian’s room, who was also an orphan, like her. Deep in the forest there is a wondrous fairy-tale world, interwoven with the one of this world, full of forest creatures only imaginative children can see.
